Youth Power Invasion is a trip like no other. For the first time ever, we are partnering with Iris Ministries. Over the course of two weeks, young adults ages 15-29 will come together for a life changing trip where they will be empowered to grow in the Lord and minister the power of Jesus. In Phase 1, you will be trained by Dr. Randy Clark, Dr. Heidi Baker, Will Hart, Brian Connelly, and Brian Starley on how to pray for the sick, give words of knowledge, and prophesy. There will also be training for intercession and basics in missions. You will learn how to walk in love as you partner with the Holy Spirit. For those over 29 desiring to go, we invite you to bring your youth and be a team leader. In Phase 2, youth ages 18-29 will have an opportunity to travel to one of Iris's ministry loctations in Brazil and get hands on experience serving the poor and stopping for the one.

Trip Speakers:

  • Dr. Randy Clark - An international itinerant minister birthed from a 4-day meeting in Canada, Randy Clark illustrates perfectly the aphorism, “don’t despise small beginnings.” The son of an oil-field worker, Randy, like most from his generation, learned the importance of perseverance. After his miraculous healing from a car accident when he was eighteen, he felt led to go into the ministry. Since that day, November 20, 1970, Randy’s involvement in ministry soared. Shortly after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Religious Studies 1974, Randy went on to receive his Masters of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY in 1977.

  • Dr. Tom Jones - As a small boy, Tom Jones attended a camp meeting service, where his grandfather lifted him high to see the Glory Cloud hovering over the crowds. In that moment, a passion to press into the heart of God and pursue revival was lit. As an adult, this passion was rekindled at John Wimber’s “Signs and Wonders” conference in the mid-1980’s and later by the Brownsville and Toronto Revivals. Tom met Randy Clark in 1999 and this was the beginning of a God-ordained friendship.

  • Dr. Heidi Baker - Heidi was powerfully called to the mission field at age sixteen when she was living on an Indian reservation in Mississippi as an American Field Service student. Several months after she was led to Jesus by a Navajo evangelist, she was taken up in a vision for several hours and heard Jesus speak audibly to her and tell her to be a minister and a missionary to Asia, England and Africa. When she returned home to Laguna Beach, California, she began ministering at every opportunity and leading short-term missions teams. We met at a small charismatic church in Dana Point, and got married six months later after realizing we had the same radical desire to see revival among the poor and forgotten of the world. Heidi Baker founded Iris Global in 1980 with her husband Rolland, and began ministering together in Asia. In 1995 they were called to the poorest country in the world at the time, Mozambique, and faced an extreme test of the Gospel. They began by pouring out their lives among abandoned street children, and as the Holy Spirit moved miraculously in many ways a revival movement spread to adults, pastors, churches and then throughout the bush all across Mozambique’s ten provinces. Heidi is now “Mama Heidi” to thousands of children, and oversees a broad holistic ministry that includes Bible schools, medical clinics, church-based orphan care, well drilling, primary schools, evangelistic and healing outreaches in remote villages and a network of thousands of churches. She has BA, MA and PhD degrees, has authored four books and travels the world as a conference speaker.

  • Will Hart - In 1999 Will walked into the basement of a church not knowing why he was there. That night the Holy Spirit reached out and grabbed him by the heart and he was never the same. Since then Will and his wife Musy have traveled and ministered with Bob Bradbury, Randy Clark and Rolland and Heidi Baker. Will's call is to take the simplicity of the gospel and power of the Holy Spirit wherever he goes. Whether it is the jungles of Congo or the streets of Thailand, he is expectant and confident in the Holy Spirit showing up in power. In 2016, Heidi & Rolland Baker asked Will to take over as Iris Global's CEO. Now, in addition to traveling the globe speaking as an itinerant, he operationally runs Iris Global.

  • Charity Cook - Charity is a frequent speaker at many of our events and brings a prophetic teaching gift to her ministry along with a deep well of practical equipping. As a Global Awakening associate evangelist, she has proven to be a woman of character, anointing, and deep thinking. Charity is a graduate of Global School of Supernatural Ministry’s inaugural class and has been serving on the Global staff since 2006. Charity grew up in Pennsylvania but since joining Global, she has ministered all around the world, seeing the Body of Christ encouraged and built up.

  • Brian Starley - Brian’s deepest conviction is to make room for the presence of God, and to honor what He’s doing above all else. He desires to train others to abide in the place of deep intimacy with the Holy Spirit, and to equip the church for the operation of signs and wonders, in order that we may declare the fullness of the gospel with word and power. He began ministering at 15 years of age, following a supernatural encounter with Jesus which marked his life.
  • Brian Connelly - Brian Connolly is the founder of Faith Like Birds Ministries and creator of The Shout and Gen Free youth conferences. He believes it’s possible for there to be a movement of restored young lives laid down for Jesus and that an encounter with God is the beginning. He has been involved in ministry since 2005 and is currently getting his Doctorate in Ministry through Global Awakening Theological Seminary. He is an author, itinerant minister, husband, and father to four beautiful girls.

Phase 2 Iris Ministry Locations- During Phase 2, youth ages 18-29 will have an opportunity to travel to one of Iris's ministry locations in Brazil and get hands on experience there:

  • Iris Fortaleza (12 People)
    • Iris Fortaleza’s ministry is based in a large tourist city on the northeast coast of Brazil and focuses on the area of prostitution by visiting and evangelizing the red light zones of the city at night. They also work in several of the slums with children, families, and drug dealers of these communities.
  • Iris Jardim Gramacho (15 People)
    • This ministry was built in the slum community surrounding a now decommissioned, but formerly the largest, trash dump in Rio de Janeiro. Iris Jardim Gramacho works with families through evangelism, worship, prayer, and church planting. Due to the prevalence of drug abuse in the community, the team has recently begun working with dealers and users to introduce the hope of Jesus and a pathway to sobriety.
  • Iris Chapada (10 People)
    • Iris Chapada is located in the Brazilian midwest in Chapada dos Guimarães, Mato Grosso. The city is home to 19,000 people and many are descendants of slaves and native Brazilian tribes. This demographic also includes many followers of exoteric religions and most have never heard the Gospel. The ministry here is pioneering new territory for the Kingdom and focuses on church planting, community discipleship, worship, devotion, and intercession.
  • Iris Piaiuí Acauã (10 People)
    • Iris Piauí Acauã is located in the sertão (bush-bush of Brazil) in Piauí. They are focused on creating a church network in towns and villages primarily for discipleship, but also to build connection in a sparsely-populated and economically-depressed region of Brazil. They also have community development and income generation programs and free ballet, sports, and other courses for children and young adults.
  • Iris Rio (8 People)
    • Iris Rio is the outreach and evangelism ministry of Vida Rio Church in Rio de Janeiro. The team at Iris Rio hosts an annual mission school to train local and international missionaries who are then sent out to carry the light and love of Jesus to the least of these. They also do outreach and discipleship programs year-round in the city.
  • Shores of Grace (12 People)
    • Shores of Grace fights against human trafficking and prostitution and helps people in at-risk situations. Working Brazil since 2010, they take the gospel to those around them through relationships in street evangelism, discipleship and protection for children and adolescents in their rescue home.
