September 9, 2025: arrived to Brazil 8:30am. Eight hour direct flight was not the pleasant experience, future note always pay for first class when taking a long flight. Went to eat at a Brazilian steak house, afterwards headed to hotel. After checking in we had 40 minutes of rest then go to the event location. Unfortunately, I was “left behind “! The group left without me. I was stuck at the elevator it would not go up or down. Trying to see if the stair case was near, but thought I don’t know if I can run in shoes from the 8th floor. I was pushing all buttons finally custodian personnel came by and helped. When I reached the lobby they were all gone.
When I think about the Lord Jesus coming back for His church, and that we are living in the end times and His coming is soon. It’s awful to think about that there will be people left behind in this awful world to experience tribulations beyond understanding. I think how much I am doing or not doing enough to reach folks that don’t believe Jesus as Lord and savior. His in the business in saving people because He’s the answer to your problem; at times I sometimes don’t know how to translate God’s love for others, I get lost for words. I can only think of “Jesus loves you” to tell them. Many don’t know what that means. To me, Jesus is that person that admires you from a far, like that secret crush that watches you and knows what you dislikes/likes and pleases you with gifts or services, and you are unaware where these come from. All Jesus long for, is for you to acknowledge Him, daily you walk pass by, never noticing Him or directing a word to Him; and all Jesus wants you to know, He loves you even though you never looked at Him, or directed a word to Him, His heart aches but His love endures for you. He never stops loving you in hopes that you look His way, at the bare minimum speak to Him, And He would be overjoyed, for He hopes to have a relationship with you. I think this is the greatest love affair and I don’t mean it in a negative connotation. The one who pursues for years with no avail; the secret love, you don’t know that you have.
To those that don’t know Jesus, I pray you just speak to Him and get to know.
