bringing it all back home

As I look forward to departing for Brazil tomorrow to join a ministry team with Randy Clark of Global Awakening I am aware of two things.

Firstly, the immediate catalyst for me joins this trip were the words of Bill Johnson of Bethel in Redding California in his advice to pastors longing to see an increase of healing and miracles in their churches. After sharing his experience and tips, he finishes with the comment that "if you want a short cut, go to Brazil with Randy Clark." So Bill, if this doesn't work I look forward to you coming to Vinelife Wilmslow to make up for it!

Secondly, I am increasingly aware, that this trip is not just about what I can bring home. I am travelling to minister to God's precious children in Brazil and I need to experience His heart and love for them. It is always a privilege to minister in the name of Jesus. I need to be acutely aware of this privilege if I am going to be used by Him to bring healing and deliverance to the people I will be serving and to help them experience the love Jesus has for them in new and deeper ways.

Please pray that my heart will be right and that God will use me to bring healing, body & soul, to those He puts before me and that I will help them draw closer to Him.
