Shalom Y’all,
Here at O’Hare Airport in Chicago awaiting my flight to Brazil!!! I cannot tell you how surreal it was boarding the plane from Atlanta earlier today….as it all became a reality that I AM GOING TO BRAZIL WITH GLOBAL AWAKENING! I apologize for not communicating sooner, but the last couple of weeks have just been a whirlwind of to do’s and other ministry opportunities…but enough of that, you want to hear about Brazil.
In case you were wondering, I flew out of Atlanta so that Sharon could spend this time with our son Chris, his wife Keisha, and our oldest grand Felicia. After I return on 6.3, we will remain in NC until the 8th of June when Felicia celebrates her 20th birthday…what a treat for us. Please be praying for Holy Spirit to move mightily with and through Sharon during this time.
Back to Brazil. There are altogether some 70 people going from all over the world. They have broken us up into teams of 10-12…there are 11 on my team, don’t quote me but I think there are some from Canada, USA, a couple of guys from Finland (I think), and my roommate Ian from England.
I am scheduled to arrive in São Paulo tomorrow morning (5.27), where I will board a bus for Maringa where we will be actually ministering. I debated about skipping the bus ride, but after learning that lunch will be at a Brazilian Steakhouse (in Brazil!), I figured I would tough it out, a cross I old just have to bear ;-)
Ministry is currently scheduled for Thursday, and Friday afternoon and evenings at our host church (CIA Church), and then a stadium event on Saturday where 25-35,000 people could show up….wow! We are scheduled to be back at the church on Sunday, with Monday maybe being an open day to enjoy the city with some Holy Ghost impromptu ministry.
I will do my best to get updates out here, so feel free to check back often.
Prayer Points: Pray against enemy retaliation before, during , and after the trip. Pray for Holy Spirit to move mightily everyday with signs, wonders, miracles…with abundant outpouring of Holy Spirit gifts (prophetic words, Words of Knowledge, gifts of healings, working of miracles, ie the Messiah Yeshua being preached with all the power of the Gospel of God. That none of the ministers on the trip will come back the same, but a a new, higher level of faith in what God will do through them in Christ.
To all of you who sacrificially gave so that I could go, Thank You. You know in all the giving talks I have ever heard, I never hear what I believe is the best reason to give…to be the answer to someone’s prayer. Thank You ding the answer to mine!
