PUSH - Pray Until Something Happens

In Macapa, Brazil, a lady named Estelendia came to us for prayer for excessive stress but it took a bit of a different path. I asked her about when anxiety started, and she brought up her parents and siblings related to this. So, we spent some time on forgiveness, and after praying through a few other items that I felt could be in her background, I prayed for anxiety to leave. I was about to let her leave, when I felt like there were a couple of places that she was physically having pain but she didn't mention it. I asked her about it. She said yes and told me that she had a lot of pain in the middle of her back after her husband punched her in the back. So, I went back through some additional praying for trauma. Prayed and checked with her. Her back was at a 10 level of pain, and seemed to stay there. I shared with her the Gospel, and asked her about making Jesus her savior. She did. We prayed some more and it seemed like we got down to an 8 level of pain. We gave God thanks and continued to pray but that pain level didn't budge. In fact, after one prayer, the pain went back to a 10 and stayed there. At some moment, I thought about the fact that I could stop now, because it wasn't getting better or even changing. Yet, I didn't want to quit praying for her, so I told the translator to tell her about praying for a guy the night before, who I prayed for about 10 or more times before his cyst disappeared. We prayed again until finally, it went directly from a 10 to a 0. My translator was super surprised, and I was just grateful to God for what He'd done. By the time this sudden change occured, we probably had prayed more than 15 times.
