On a recent trip to Guatemala, I was asked to share about ministering with the Healing Rooms. After sharing a bit about the ministry, I shared the following stories -
- I saw a video where Cal Pearce (Healing Rooms) shared a miracle that occurred in Africa. A young girl had a brain tumor and desperately needed a miracle. The closest Healing Rooms was too far to travel in her condition. So, they asked the team to pray anyway. As the team prayed for healing, they got the impression they should pray over a tissue and anoint it. They asked Holy Spirit what to do next. The word they got was to take a photocopy of the tissue. Next, they got a word to fax the photocopy to the location where the young girl was. When the fax came through, those receiving the fax folded the paper up and put it on her forehead, prayed again for the young girl and she was healed. What a crazy amazing story of physical healing. We simply cannot put God in a box.
- Then I shared about going to Brazil with Global Awakening October 2022. I shared the testimony of getting a word of knowledge to pray for someone with a big toe infection. A ballerina came up asking for prayer for her big toe. She was healed. My faith and her faith increased in that moment.
After sharing these stories, a team member from my church shared how I had prayed for healing for her ankle that was struggling to heal after a bad break. I had forgotten about this, but God used this testimony to encourage all of us. As we were leaving the table, I mentioned to our hosts, Nelly and Edwin, that we would love to pray for anyone needing prayer for physical healing if they wanted to guide us to the those in need. Nelly quickly responded that she needed healing. Her right arm was in pain to the point where she could not grip her fingers and hold anything. We prayed and she immediately felt relief. Later that day Nelly came to me with great excitement saying how she had grabbed a blanket from the stack with her right hand and arm without any pain. What a blessing. And all to the glory of God.
These testimonies are a reminder of how God also answered the prayer in Ephesians 3:20. He did super abundantly more than we asked. And as verse 21 states: "to Him be the glory!!"
